Overview: Porquerolles, an island. Cast of the ordinary. Even ashore, sea is always present, as the freshness of the spray forms a blissful union with the scents of the pine grove. The historic vineyard is bathed in light and derives its distnctve taste from the glistening crust of the thousand-year-old shales, on which the tender night sprinkles dew drops. Now owned by CHANEL, Domaine de l’Ile produces wine formed by island soil, loving sun and invigoratng wind.

Tasting Notes: A luminous pale pink color. Bright strawberry, raspberry and grenadine aromas are invigorated by hints of pink grapefruit notes from the Cinsault. On the palate, red berry flavors are joined by rich red cherry from the Mourvèdre and notes of blackcurrant and spice from the Syrah, leading to a long, refreshing finish with touches of saline.
