On June 22th, 2020 Kenny, Ryan, Stewart, Erik, Colton, and Jen gathered to select an Elijah Craig bourbon from a collection of 3 barrels. To the groups surprise, Barrel #2 in the lineup was just as solid as #1 but very different and presented a real challenge to choose between. Notes of leather, tobacco smoke, charcoal and mint on the nose, which is super off profile and intriguing for the group. This is a super funky, bourbon with smokey chocolate notes, some sweet oak spice. As luck would have it, Heaven Hill agreed to let the team pick 2 barrels.
