Lassegue - Saint-Emilion - Grand Cru
Overview: Nestled on the Côte de Saint-Émilion, Château Lassègue exemplifies winemaking passion and an unbridled quest to create world-class wines. With its striking 18th Century château, perennially sun-drenched vineyards and diverse soils, Château Lassègue sits in a unique position of honoring its heritage while also moving to a new era of winemaking traditions.
Tasting Notes: The wine displays a deep ruby color. A basket of red fruits, flowers and spices show off in the nose. The palate displays a fine complexity of ripe red fruit, pepper, mineral and licorice extending in a long, complex finish with refined tannins. This wine is enjoyable now but will evolve over the next 15 years.
Pairing: Sauteed Mushrooms with Garlic Herb Butter, Dark Chocolate
