Maker - Chenin Blanc - Revolution Wines

About This Item

Overview: We’re the ladies of Maker, here to serve up award-winning wine for discerning palates and the good of human kind.

We started Maker to offer premium wine sans the snobbery. To highlight interesting varietals crafted by award-winning small producers. To tell the story of the producer that hand crafted your wine. And to package up “wine for one” in earth-conscious cans. Because we believe high-end wine isn’t just for the wealthy, distribution shouldn’t just be for the big guys, and great stories—like great wines—are meant to be shared. - Sarah, Kendra, and Zoe

Chenin Blanc is a white wine grape from the Loire Valley that’s kind of having a moment. It’s versatile and high in acidity, making it the perfect food pairing and porch sippin’ wine. The hot days and the cool Delta nighttime breeze in Clarksburg, just 15 miles from Sacramento, make it one of the best places in the world for growing Chenin Blanc. Dress it up with oysters and fancy stemware or take it straight outta the can with spicy takeout.

Tasting Notes: Tropical aromas, stone fruit, and lemon zest — this zesty, zippy, Chenin Blanc is the perfect blend of fruity and funky. It’s versatile with bright acidity, making it the perfect food pairing and porch sippin’ wine.

Pairing:Thai food, a homemade spaghetti complete with lemon and garlic, or creamy cheeses. Great with oysters
