Kentucky Dark Fired Whiskey is something unique to Western Kentucky. We dark fire (smoke) much of the corn we use in this mash bill, then age the whiskey in our used bourbon barrels. The result is something a little lighter than bourbon, but with all of the campfire and bbq notes provided from our dark fired corn.
