Sotol La Higuera Wheeleri 200ML

In Aldama, Chihuahua, Master Sotolero Gerardo Ruelas creates Sotol La Higuera. In English, Dasylirion wheeleri is known as the Desert Spoon plant. The sotol plants are roasted in an outdoor conical oven made of wood and pebbles, then milled by hand with axes before being fermented in 1,000L pine vats with wild yeasts. In alembic copper stills, it is then twice distilled. This blend is smooth and herbaceous, with a touch of pineapple flavor and a moderate smokiness.
