OVERVIEW:

On May 19th, 2022 The Mash & Journey Whiskey Club sat down with 5 of our patrons to help select the next two selections from Woodinville! Garrett Epling of Woodinville sat down with us to guide us through each barrel. Ultimately we ended up with two great barrels we named Mav and Ice. Two great barrels with two completely different flavor profiles that equally show the quality and flavors coming out of Woodinville!

TASTING NOTES:

• Barrel #7040 - 117.06 proof
• Nose - Dark fruits, cherry Garcia ice cream, and caramel apple. More honey on this one as well, laced with brown sugar, a hint of orange peel, and chocolate. A bit more oak here on the nose as well.
• Palate - A viscous welcome on the palate with raspberry jam, brown sugar, and a hint of coffee beans. This opens up to an oily mouthfeel that brings more of that root beer quality Woodinville is known for.
