🥃 The Hakushu Distillery

Hakushu is one of the most distinctive distilleries in Japanese whisky.

Established in 1973, the distillery was created after Suntory's second Master Blender, Keizo Saji, searched Japan for pristine water capable of producing a delicately aromatic style of whisky.

He ultimately selected Hakushu's mountainous forest environment near Mt. Kaikomagatake.
