Applejack
Applejack has a long history in the United States, dating back to the colonial era. It was a popular spirit among early American settlers, who would use it as a form of currency and also as a medicine. It is made by freezing hard apple cider and removing the ice, which concentrates the alcohol content. The remaining liquid is then distilled, which further concentrates the alcohol and gives it a higher proof.
