Viña Cobos - Felino - Chardonnay
Description
Overview: Felino: A symbolic figure used to characterise the lively qualities of the purest varietal expressions of the Argentine terroir. Fresh and vibrant, the perfect introduction to the terroir of Mendoza. Made with carefully selected grapes from the regions of Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco at an altitude between 2,780 and 4,800 ft elevation. The vines grow on stony soils with variable presence of limestone, and very poor in organic matter.
100% Chardonnay hand harvested with shears, manual bunch selection. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeats; 7% malolactic fermentation. 7% is aged in new French oak for 6 months. Unfined.
Tasting Notes: Yellow pale color. On the nose it presents aromas of pear, green apple and grapefruit. It's very well balanced with a good palate and crisp acidity.
