OVERVIEW:

Way back on March 17th of 2021, Kenny & Ryan got on a joint Youtube stream with Rare Bird 101 to taste 6 barrel samples from Wild Turkey Russell's Reserve.  We were told that we could potentially have any of the barrels that we loved, and by the end of the night, there was only 1 sample we thought was off.  We'd never actually gone into a selection where so many of the samples were so consistently great.

It's now almost 18 months later and we honestly thought these picks had been lost.  We are so happy to bring you the 2021 Russell's Reserve Selections.

• Nose: Warm honey buns, nutty toffee, caramel glaze, hints of maple
• Taste: vanilla creme, honey butter, brown sugar, baked apples & cinnamon
• Finish: medium-long w/ caramel toffee, candied nuts, nutmeg, smoked citrus
• Impression: Mmm mmm … who doesn’t crave a microwaved honey bun? 21-338 is a standout with its confectionery richness. #want
