Cabernet Franc

Cabernet Franc is a red grape variety that is grown in many wine regions around the world. It is believed to have originated in the Bordeaux region of France.  In general, Cabernet Franc wines tend to be lighter in body and lower in tannins than other Cabernet varieties. They also tend to have higher acidity, which gives the wine a refreshing and crisp character.
