Since 2021, Dom Pérignon and Lady Gaga have engaged in a correspondence of universes that has interfused their aesthetic ambitions. After praising together the power of creative freedom, this year, they explore the importance of work in their creative processes. Their shared vision on the act of creation materializes in a new campaign and an artistic performance, and highlights Dom Pérignon’s latest creation to be released: Dom Pérignon Vintage 2013.

Making Dom Pérignon is an act of creation renewed with each Vintage by its Cellar Master, Vincent Chaperon. His creative process resonates with Lady Gaga’s, as both of them approach their art as a form of work. Beyond the flash of inspiration, there is labor, dedication and craft. It is work, but it is exceptional and passionate work that lifts us upwards to the sublime.

Dom Pérignon’s aesthetic ideal was born when, in the 17th century, Dom Pierre Pérignon set out to “make the best wine in the world”, an aim always refined, but never definitively achieved. With every vintage, the ambition to create emotion through harmony is what keeps driving Dom Pérignon forward.

For Lady Gaga, this pursuit is driven by a desire to always cross boundaries and experiment with new art forms, never settling on what it means to be a music artist. She varies her personas, experimenting with her voice, creating poetry with her lyrics and transforming herself through theatrics. As Lady Gaga herself has proclaimed: “The only constant in life is change."
