Tennessee Whiskey
Tennessee whiskey, made exclusively in the state of Tennessee, is filtered through charcoal before being aged in oak barrels. This process, known as the Lincoln County Process, involves dripping the whiskey through a layer of maple charcoal, which removes impurities and imparts a distinctive flavor to the final product. This step is required by law for any whiskey to be labeled as "Tennessee whiskey."
