Produced at Destilería La Fortaleza (NOM 1493) in the historic Tequila Valley of Jalisco, Still Strength follows the same remarkably traditional production methods that have made Fortaleza one of the most sought-after names among serious tequila enthusiasts.

Mature agave from the Tequila Valley is slowly cooked in traditional stone and brick ovens before being crushed entirely by a massive stone tahona wheel. The extracted agave juice is fermented in open-air wooden tanks and then double distilled in traditional copper pot stills.

What separates Still Strength from the classic Fortaleza Blanco happens after distillation. Fortaleza's second distillation produces tequila at approximately 46% ABV, remarkably close to bottling strength. While the standard Blanco is reduced with water to 40% ABV, Still Strength is bottled at 46% ABV without water being added before bottling.

The result is a richer, brighter, more rustic and intensely agave-driven Fortaleza, delivering concentrated layers of fully cooked agave, ripe fruit, green olive, earth, butter, black pepper, minerals, and vegetal herbs with a substantial, oily mouthfeel and exceptionally persistent finish.
