Overview: Produced using hand-harvested fruit from carefully selected vineyards within the Sonoma Coast appellation, Crossbarn Pinot Noir offers structure and complexity in balance with pure, concentrated fruit.
Hand-harvested at night, the Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir sees a 14-day maceration in open tanks with 10-15% whole cluster inclusion. Native yeast fermentations. Barrel aged for 9 months on the lees in 2-5% new oak barrels. Bottled unfied with minimal SO2 additions.
Tasting Notes: Lots of dried strawberry, umami, seaweed, and bark with some savory undertones. Some flowers. Medium body. Creamy and flavorful. Lovely deliciousness at the end.
