We each picked an Elijah Craig Barrel Proof and a Larceny Barrel Proof!
BARREL DETAILS Elijah Craig Barrel Proof - 10 Years old | 120.1 Proof | #6835776 “True Old Style”
TASTING NOTES:
NOSE: The nose is confectionary and sweet - caramels, toffee, milk chocolate, and candied pecans, with a subtle hint of perfumed oak.
PALATE: The palate is rich and coating, drinking surprisingly easy for its 120 proof. Pecan pralines and balanced oak lead the way, while dried cherry and cane sugar lift the mid-palate just enough to keep things lively.
FINISH: The finish is gently effervescent, with oak still present but folding into toffee and nougat, all trailing off with a cream soda-like sweetness.
