Jameson has always brought new friends to the table, so this time we introduced our Bourbon and Sherry casks to hand-selected Chestnut casks. It turned out to be a match made in wood heaven. A new triple cask Jameson taste experience bringing velvety smooth notes of toffee, cacao, toasted almonds and a luxurious finish. Always triple distilled and now triple cask for additional layers of flavor and an extra drop of smoothness. Best served the rocks or in our signature Triple Triple Mint Sour.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Opens with rich aromas of toffee fudge, vanilla, and hazelnut chocolate. Subtle orchard fruit notes of sweet pear and green apple softly linger in the background while the chestnut wood influence continues to build, accentuating the indulgent tones of dark chocolate and toasted almond.
Palate: Luscious and textured with notes of creamy fudge and vanilla, while mild nutty undertones and gentle wood spices slowly build over time adding further layers of flavor, complementing the orchard fruits and toasted wood.
Finish: Lingering finish which sees the fruits and spices gently fade, allowing the balanced use of oak and chestnut to have the last word.
