The Orendain family's Arette Tequila is a famous brand. Tequila is now produced by the fifth generation of master distillers. Arette has often prioritized quality over quantity, retaining the original artisanal traditions, and is made from 100 percent estate-grown lowlands Agave. After 15 hours of roasting, the agave is shredded and fermented for 6-7 days in the distillery's original cement vat with a special house yeast, before being pot distilled and double-filtered before bottling.
The scent is lemony and zesty. Dried herbs, juicy florals, and green pepper dominate the palate, with a hint of vegetal savoriness. Light and refreshing, with a hint of lemon zest. It's delicious and has a low alcohol content.
