Named after one of the founding fathers of the modern bourbon industry, Colonel E.H. Taylor Small Batch Bourbon pays homage to a legacy of quality, innovation, and authenticity. Crafted at the historic Buffalo Trace Distillery and aged in century-old warehouses built by Taylor himself, this bourbon is a shining example of the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897 β€” legislation that Taylor helped champion.

Made from a proprietary high-rye mash bill and aged for a minimum of four years in federally bonded warehouses, this small batch release is bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV) to maintain its bold, full-flavored character. Uncompromising in quality and steeped in tradition, E.H. Taylor Small Batch is a favorite among enthusiasts who appreciate classic bourbon with depth, structure, and historical significance.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Inviting and vibrant with aromas of freshly baked caramel corn, vanilla cream, and light cinnamon, underscored by notes of leather, toasted oak, and a touch of dried fruit.

Palate: Bold yet balanced. Flavors of toffee, butterscotch, and sweet grain give way to hints of peppery rye spice, orange zest, and clove. The texture is rich and warming, with excellent barrel integration and a clean, structured profile.

Finish: Medium to long with lingering notes of caramel, light smoke, and aged oak, finishing dry with a gentle spice.
