Description
Glen Grant Distillery was the first of five to be built in the town of Rothes. It was built by John & James Grant, two brothers who had previously been involved in illicit distilling.
Passion for single malt Scotch whisky has been at the heart of our family business for four generations. This range is an ever-changing collection of unique perspectives on distilleries’ own bottlings, non-chill-filtered single cask and small batch expressions bottled at cask strength — exceptional one-offs.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Soft vanilla aromas give way to autumnal apple and pear notes. Citrus lemon combines with subtle sweet toasted malt biscuit.
- Palate: Sweet flavours of ripe exotic fruit are balanced by cracked black pepper and charred oak.
- Finish: A medium-bodied and fruity finish with oak and underlying menthol.
