🥃 Five Distinctive Cask Finishes

For the first time in the Midwinter series, High West expands its traditional Port barrel finishing program to include three exceptional styles of Spanish sherry.

Ruby Port contributes vibrant red fruit and berry richness.

Tawny Port introduces dried fruit, caramelized sweetness, and nutty complexity.

Amontillado Sherry brings toasted nuts and savory depth.

Oloroso Sherry contributes darker fruit and rich oxidative character.

Pedro Ximénez Sherry adds luxurious raisin, fig, and dessert-like sweetness.

Together, these finishing casks create a sophisticated interplay between the natural spice of rye whiskey and the richness of fortified wine barrels.

🥃 A Blend of Exceptional Rye Whiskeys

Act 14 begins with Rendezvous Rye, incorporating straight rye whiskeys aged between four and ten years.

The blend draws from three distinct mash bills:

• 95% Rye / 5% Malted Barley — MGP

• 80% Rye / 20% Malted Rye — High West Distillery

• 64% Rye / 30% Corn / 6% Malted Barley — Bardstown Bourbon Company

Each contributes a different dimension of rye spice, sweetness, texture, and complexity.
