  • Alipus Ensamble was marketed in the United States in mid-2016. Due to its popularity, there have been more releases since. It's made by master mezcalero Don Valente Angel in San Andrés, Oaxaca, and it has a lot of the characteristics that one would expect from a mezcal made by this master mezcalero. This mezcal is made from a mixture of 80% maguey Espadin and 20% semi-wild maguey Bicuishe. .
