NOSE

Overall, it's mellow, moderate, and dry. Underneath, on a dusty background of waxed cotton jacket and hemp ropes, or in the warehouse, earthy foors and hessian bags, there are fleeting hints of maraschino cherry and wax furniture polish. The delicious fruit has a mild sharpness that balances out the sweetness, and a drop of water adds a hint of mint toffee.

PALATE
At its natural strength, it has a delicate texture; it is light on its feet, energetic for its age, and dries out generally. Sweet in flavor, with a fruity opening and a peppery finish. In a glass, there's a Christmas pudding. Oranges with cloves embedded in them. A bittersweet flavor of burned raisins lies underneath.

FINISH
Long and wonderfully warming, with a mild yet spicy sweetness that leaves a warm glow. A splash of water brightens the finish and enhances the fruit.
