This curious whiskey is R6's spin on single malt. They took 100% malted grain and incorporated an Irish Distiller's Malt. peated malt, chocolate malt, and coffee malt.
Rather than seperating the chocolate and coffee as they originally intended, the flavor was too great to pass up, so they mixed the two mashes together, distilled them, and matured them in a smaller (10-15 gallon) Charred New American White Oak (Char #3) barrels for a year.
