Florence Field Gin is inspired by the woman responsible for donating the iconic Chicago Bronze Lions and various significant artworks to one of the world's most renowned museums located in Chicago, Illinois. To this day, the sculptures guard the main entrance of the museum.
The two symbolic and historic lions were commissioned by Florence Field in memory of her late husband, Henry Field, and unveiled to the public on May 10, 1894. Sculpted by well-known Animalier Edward Kemeys, the statues have since become a steadfast symbol of Chicago.
