Chateau Condat - Saint-Emilion Grand Cru
Description
Overview: Located about 40 kilometres (25 miles) east of Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion’s vines flourish on an infinitely nuanced terroir. Employing innovative techniques alongside centuries-old traditions, the winegrowers of Lussac Saint-Émilion, Puisseguin Saint-Émilion, Saint-Émilion and Saint-Émilion Grand Cru make wines that are packed with emotions. With their ruby colour and elegant bouquets the Saint-Émilion appellations’ wines are long, well-balanced and silky on the palate. They are enjoyable and superb for sharing.
Tasting Notes: This wine has plenty of the rich black fruit of the vintage along with a firm structure that will allow it to age. Flavors from the new wood used for aging show in the spice and the dry core of the wine.
Pairing: Beef stew
Points: 93, Wine Enthusiast
Format/ABV: 750 ml/14.0%
