To become the Gran Reserva, our awarded El Platino is carefully aged in new, premium
French oak barrels. This process gives our Extra Añejo tequila a full-bodied taste that critics have compared to a sophisticated Cognac or Armagnac. We are honored to have been voted “Best of the Best” by the prestigious Robb Report magazine, and adorned with the “Double Gold Medal” by the San Francisco World Spirits competition.
Tasting Notes: At first you are pleasantly surprised by the sweet, delicate, honey-like opening aroma. Palate opens to a rich vanilla while the honey component expands to include butter cream and toffee, yielding a smooth caramel finish.
