Belle Glos was created by Joseph Wagner, a fifth-generation California winemaker whose family has played an important role in Napa Valley wine history.
The name Belle Glos honors Joe's grandmother, Lorna Belle Glos Wagner, who co-founded Caymus Vineyards in 1972 with her husband Charlie Wagner Sr. and their son Chuck Wagner.
Lorna was also an avid Pinot Noir enthusiast.
Joe Wagner carried that family connection into Belle Glos, focusing the winery on producing bold, expressive Pinot Noir from some of California's most compelling cool-climate coastal regions.
After 25 vintages, the Anniversary Edition celebrates that journey.
