Meet Metallica’s own brand of American Whiskey. Blackened American Whiskey is forged by the earth-shattering music of Metallica.

Using their proprietary sonic-enhancement system BLACK NOISE, the whiskey is pummeled by sound, causing it to seep deeper into the barrel, where it picks up additional wood flavor characteristics. It’s a marriage of the finest bourbons, ryes & whiskeys, hand selected by Dave himself. Each of the whiskeys offer unique flavor that play a key role in the final spirit.

BLACKENED Whiskey’s Cask Strength expression features the same award-winning blend of the finest North American straight bourbons and ryes as in the original expression. The whiskeys are then married and finished in brandy casks, bottled at cask strength, and non-chill filtered, offering a more viscous mouthfeel and an even bolder flavor profile.

• Nose: Rolled oats, vanilla wafer, fig, maple sugar, and toffee
• Palate: Walnut, caramel, and vanilla creme
• Finish: Brown sugar, ancho chili, and a cinnamon spice finish
