Overview: Boen draws its profile from a varied coastal wine growing area that are among California's most sought after cool-climate counties. Each area Boen originates from offers optimal growing conditions for this temperamental and ealy-ripening vairety. This stretch of the California coastline is so geographically fiverse that the various soil types, sub-climates, and elevations procude wine with an array of differences in character and style. To create our Boen Pinot Noir, we belnd grapes from the various regions to showcase a wine that is rich in flavor, with bright anromatics and a vibrant minerality.
Tasting Notes: Color: Dark ruby red. Nose: Notes of dark cherry, raspberry, vanilla, black currants, and crushed violet. Palate: A rich an smooth wine with flavors of dark cherry, blackberry, baking spice, and dried fig. This medium bodied wine is well balanced with a smooth and vibrant finish.
Pairing: Grilled skirt steak with chimichurri saice, peppered roasted pork tenderloin, or a classic spaghetti and meantballs.
