Bomberger's PFG (Precision Fine Grain) Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a testament to Michter's dedication to precision in whiskey-making. This 2025 release undergoes a dual-barrel aging process, starting in new toasted and charred American oak barrels, followed by finishing in custom French fine-grain oak barrels crafted from staves air-dried for over 40 months near the Charente River in France. This meticulous process imparts a rich complexity to the bourbon, resulting in a harmonious blend of flavors.

Tasting Notes:

• Color: Deep ruby red, reminiscent of tawny port.
• Nose: Aromatic notes of dark caramel, cherry, molasses, milk chocolate, brown sugar, and woody oak.
• Palate: Velvety mouthfeel with flavors of cherry, fudge, brown sugar, dark caramel, boiled peanuts, and a hint of cinnamon and baking spice.
• Finish: Lingering notes of raisins, dark cocoa, molasses, baking spice, and oak.
