Chivas Royal Salute 21 was born in 1953 to comemorate the crowning of queen Isabel II of England and its name refers to the 21 cannon shots traditionally fired by the Royal Navy of that country when a new monarch is crowned.

Chivas Royal is characterized by an intense golden color, it has a very complex aromatic expression, with spicy and floral nuances and a silky and enveloping mid palate. It requires a leisurely tasting, alone or with the addition of a few drops of mineral water.

The Chivas Royal Salute 21 Year Old comes in an elegant Wade porcelain bottle. It is a very unique whiskey, combining the character of some of the best malts kept at the Strathisla Distillery.
