Del Maguey Barril is made from maguey Barril that is semi-wild. Barril is one of the karwinskii family's largest and fattest members. The agave used in this mezcal was fermented using only airborne microbes, then distilled twice in a conventional clay still with bamboo tubing. With tropical aromas of ripe pear, dark fig, and wet green grass, this mezcal has a spicy floral nose.
