El Ateo is not who you think it is. We don't want you to misunderstand us. El Ateo in our story is not the villain, in fact, he is quite the opposite. He has nothing against any god. He's just someone who questions, who doesn't believe everything he reads, who thinks, analyzes and makes the most of his time. Sometimes you need to be foolish to achieve something and that is exactly what happened. In Romita, Gto., an inhospitable town of road robbers, Don Luis Villalobos Obregón was necessarily foolish, and against all adversity he planted a stony and rough hill, completely made of agaves. Branded as risky and even crazy by many, he never thought that he would be the first of thousands, much less that thanks to him, Romita would become a bastion and standard-bearer municipality of agave activity for the entire tequila industry.
