Overview
Domaine Fouassier is one of Sancerre's most respected family estates, with roots in the appellation stretching back generations. The Sur Le Fort cuvée is sourced from some of the estate's finest parcels, showcasing the distinctive flinty, mineral character that Sancerre is celebrated for. This is a classic, elegant expression of Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley.
Tasting Notes
Bright and aromatic on the nose with notes of citrus zest, white peach, and fresh herbs. The palate is crisp and lively with vibrant acidity, mineral-driven depth, and a clean, lingering finish.
Pairing
Pairs beautifully with goat cheese, oysters, grilled fish, and light seafood dishes. Also excellent alongside fresh salads and herb-driven cuisine.
