Furthermore - Rose of Pinot Noir - Russian River
Description
Overview: Friends and business partners since the early 90s, Bob Zeches and Chad Richard began an exploration and education around wine together soon after they met. Their shared tastes in wine have always centered around Pinot Noir, particularly from California and Oregon, and in 2006 when the opportunity arose, they created their first two barrels of wine – about 50 cases of Pinot Noir. The fruit came from the Bohemian Vineyard in Freestone just a few miles from Nevinaʼs Vineyard, the estate vineyard in Occidental that they would eventually purchase in 2011.
Tasting Notes: This is a dry, crisp and medium-bodied wine from the Pinot specialist, textured and complex with well-defined flavors of peach and strawberry. It has a lushness that remains fresh and focused, not to mention delicious.
Pairing: Chicken and turkey
Points: 90, Wine Enthusiast
