The 35 Year Old was born when Glenfarclas Distillery Manager Callum Fraser discovered an exceptional parcel of casks approaching their 35th birthday in the distillery's traditional warehouses. Recognizing their remarkable quality and maturity, Glenfarclas selected the casks to create a new age-stated expression positioned among the oldest whiskies in the distillery's celebrated range.
Glenfarclas has remained under the ownership and management of the Grant family since 1865, maintaining a remarkably traditional approach to Scotch whisky production. The 35 Year Old reflects that philosophy beautifully, spending more than a third of a century developing in Sherry-seasoned Spanish oak before being bottled at 43% ABV (86 Proof).
