Description

The Fiji 2004 17-Year edition is a molasses, 100 percent pot-distilled rum. It is an exceptional example of the classic Fijian rum profile from the South Pacific Distilleries, called one of the top rums in the 21st century in the Robb Report magazine. It was tropically aged in ex-bourbon for 12 years with a further 5 years maturation in the UK American oak casks.

Tasting Notes:

Subtle grass and fresh banana on the nose, citrus and pepper followed by hints of caramel on the tongue. A buttery mouthfeel leads to a dry finish of oak and balsam.
