This bold blend features:

7-year-old small-batch high-rye bourbon with a spicy 30% rye mash bill
5-year-old wheated bourbon aged in freshly charred heirloom corn casks
4-year-old straight bourbon finished in French oak puncheons

Each component was chosen not for convenience, but for curiosity—highlighting what can happen when tradition meets innovation. Bottled uncut and unfiltered at 119.4 proof (59.7% ABV), Path Not Taken invites you to follow a different trail—and taste where it leads.

Tasting Notes:
Appearance:
Deep golden amber edged with copper; thick, oily legs hint at a decadent mouthfeel.

Nose:
Enveloping and complex. The high-rye bourbon introduces bold cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg spices, while the wheated bourbon lifts the profile with sweet corn, honeycomb, and warm butterscotch. The French oak finish adds elegant notes of toasted almond, dried rose petals, sandalwood, and subtle baking spices.

Palate:
Layered and adventurous. The initial sip is spiced and grain-forward—charred oak, caramel, and a punch of cinnamon. Mid-palate blossoms into rich honeyed wheat, vanilla custard, and nutty depth.
