Maker’s Mark Cellar Aged 2025 is the latest release in the distillery’s evolving Cellar Aged series, offering a deeper, more mature take on their classic wheated bourbon. Unlike traditional age-statement bottlings, this release blends barrels aged for 11, 13, and 14 years, carefully selected to balance complexity, structure, and signature smoothness.
After initial aging in standard rickhouses, the barrels are moved into a limestone cellar built into the natural Kentucky terrain. This cooler, more stable environment slows the aging process, allowing the whiskey to mature gracefully while avoiding excessive oak tannins. The result is a refined, richly layered bourbon bottled at cask strength — 112.9 proof (56.45% ABV).
