Overview
Old Soul is produced by Ironstone Vineyards, a family-owned winery based in California's Calaveras County with deep roots in the Central Valley. The Old Soul label celebrates the old vine heritage of the Lodi appellation, one of California's most storied wine regions known for its ancient vine plantings and warm, Mediterranean-like climate. This Chardonnay is crafted to be approachable and food-friendly, reflecting the rich, sun-drenched character of Lodi fruit.
Tasting Notes
Golden straw in colour with aromas of ripe peach, tropical fruit, vanilla, and a hint of toasted oak. The palate is smooth and round with generous fruit flavours, soft acidity, and a creamy, lingering finish.
Pairing
Pairs well with roasted chicken, creamy pasta, seafood, mild cheeses, and grilled vegetables. A versatile everyday Chardonnay.
