The traditional Greek ouzo, with the great and most distinctive history! Everything started in 1880 in Constantinople. There, at the Kalogiannis distillery, the connoisseurs always requested ouzo from a specific barrel. An aromatic ouzo with a rich flavor. The story continues in Thessaloniki, where the Kalogiannis family moved in 1925. The unique flavor of their ouzo enchanted the whole city.
In 1950, this unique distillate made its way to Piraeus. There, it was bottled for the first time, introducing the carafe which became the most common ouzo bottle. But its journey didn’t end there. Its fame achieved great success beyond borders and managed to accompany flavors and moments all over the world.
