Overview: Dalla Terra is excited and proud to announce the addition of Perla Terra Barolo to its portfolio of Italian Wines. For years Dalla Terra has represented some of the finest Piedmont estates and the addition of Perla Terra allows us to offer an extremely high quality Barolo at a value price point.
Made in partnership with several small growers located primarily in the communes of La Morra, Novello, Monforte d’Alba, Grinzane Cavour and Verduno, Perla Terra is vinified and bottled for Dalla Terra using traditional methods at a local winery in the Barolo region. The cru vineyard selections are vinified separately and the blend is selected by our co-owners, Brian Larky and Scott Ades.
With an inaugural production of 1,600 cases, Perla Terra offers an authentic and exemplary Barolo in an attractive package at a competitive and strategic price.
Perla Terra is the result of decades of love for the people, place and wines of Barolo. Sourced from some of the finest Cru vineyards of the region, the grapes are vinified using traditional methods and then aged in large oak casks for a minimum of 18 months.
Tasting Notes: This is a classic Barolo with rich and layered aromas of red fruits and roses, with balanced tannins and lingering notes of cherries, chocolate and leather.
