Trinitas - Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa Valley
Description
Overview: Trinitas Cellars was born in 2002 from the guiding belief of the Busch Family that with family, faith, and perseverance, anything is possible. These values have illuminated their path to, and successes within, world-class resort hospitality. An industry where success is measured by the happiness and memories you inspire in others. With Trinitas Cellars, the second generation of the family hopes to inspire the same in wine enthusiasts. Our goal is to craft wine that’s so compellingly delicious, that the joy it brings creates a window in time where worries are melted away, virtues are celebrated, and life is savored.
Winemaking Notes We barreled the juice down to mostly French oak with a few Russian and American oak barrels as well, all 100% new. The wine was aged in barrels for 18 months. The barrel fermentation gives this wine its silky characteristic and adds many layers of complexity to the nose and palate.
Tasting Notes: Dark, toasted spices and rich, ripe blackberry and plum aromas lead to a palate that has a very plush array of ripe plums and berries, leading to a saturated, juicy and ripe finish. Silky. Drink or hold.
Pairing: Grilled ribeye steak, braised beef short ribs, venison stew.
Points: 93, James Suckling
