OVERVIEW:

On March 18th, 2022, Bourbon Pursuit Patreon members Bogan Painter, Blake Daily, James Farrell, & Ryan Gardner joined Ryan for 2 single barrel selections at Limestone Branch.  The folks at Yellowstone insisted that the team find transportation to the distillery and highly recommended the fine folks at Bardstown City Taxi co.  The drivers were memorable, so we had to honor them with our sticker themes for this pair of bourbons.  We think you'll enjoy "ASK FOR DANNY", and "BACKSEAT TOOTERS".

TASTING NOTES:  by Brian Beyke

• Nose: Cherry pie, gooey caramel, apple cider, and a dusty peach and floral note lead the way before charred oak and milk chocolate. Yes, please!
  
• Palate:  The palate is rich and full - and matches much of the nose, but picks up purple flowers, baked blueberries, honied graham cracker, and a fresh kiss of mint and cracked pepper.
  
• Finish:  The finish is long, full, and rich.  Tons of caramelized sugars, slightly earthy berries, and middle-aged oak. Delicious.
