Llopart - Brut Reserva - Corpinnat
Description
Overview: The Reserva is made up of almost equal parts of Xarel-lo, Macabeo, and Parellada from the following vineyard sites in Can Llopart de Subirats: Clos del Rocallis, Clos de los Minerals, Clos de los Fossils, and Clos del Costers. The mountainside vineyards were planted between 1985-1995 upon beds of calcareous clay with fossilized coral and see sustainable, organic agriculture. The wine undergoes traditional, artisanal methode champenoise with a secondary fermentation in bottle. The finished wine ages for 18 months in bottle before release.
Tasting Notes: Apple, clover and grassy aromas are supported by a nice underlay of yeast. On the palate, this is a touch soft and flat, with low acidity. Apple, nectarine and melon flavors finish clean and mellow.
