Curado Cupreata Tequila Blanco (750 ml)
Description
Curado is created by using a blanco Tequila from the Highlands of Jalisco as a canvas, then we infuse the liquid with pieces of cooked Agave. At first the infusions only used Blue Agave from the state of Jalisco, but the project soon evolved to include other varieties of Agave from other regions of Mexico. We want to build bridges, not walls.
Curado Cupreata begins as Tequila Ocho Blanco and then undergoes a 5 day infusion process where we steep roasted Cupreata, a Mezcal Agave plant from the state of Michoacan, into the Blanco Tequila giving the final product a golden hue.
Tasting Notes: A deep rich aroma, comparable to barrel aging) with hints of Oregano and an alluring hint of smoked paprika. Baking Spices begin to filter in along with sweet roasted agave, honey, scorched habanero chilies, earthiness and smoky notes. Smoky with a caramel sweetness balanced by a floral bitterness giving way to paprika, tomato leaves and pancake batter with massive spice notes that finish with bittersweet notes, white pepper and toffee brittle.
