I understand that Shannon is eager to use a beautiful cork for his product bottles, but it's crucial to avoid a low-quality one. When you twist this cork, it either requires wiggling or pulling straight out, which leads to breakage. Removing the broken piece from the bottle is quite challenging, as you have to be careful not to let any fragments fall inside. It took some thoughtful effort to extract it successfully.

I'm a whiskey man myself. If you are too, this reminds me of blanton's but not the taste. What they have in common is you brace for the "hit" that make you cringe when you drink liquor straight, but it never comes. It is the blanton's of cognac. Extremely smooth, but from there they're totally different. Sweet, but not too sweet. Thicker than water but not in a bad way. The subtle flavor left in my tounge brought me back here to order a third bottle, but I decided to write a review first!
